The Christ the king Cathedral Parish, Akatsi of Keta-Akatsi Diocese celebrated the solemnity of Pentecost on May 20, 2018 in a festive manner. A huge crowd of catholic faithful from all the twenty-three (23) outstations of the Parish gathered for the event

Rev. Fr. Paul Torsu, the Cathederal Administrator presided over the Holy Mass. Concelebrating with him were Frs. Wiiliam Teshie, Franklin Adzaho, James Dzinyakpor, Frank Kuwornu, Benjamin Nyamadi-Combey, Prosper Mensah and Stanley Azameti.

In the homily, Rev. Fr. Stanley Azameti stressed the need for Catholic Christians to respect the orderliness in the Catholic liturgy and eschew the desire to follow those who dramatize the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He encouraged the faithful to fun into flame the gifts of the Spirit and to allow the symbolism of fire which fell on the disciples to correct their mistakes.

The music ministry of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal (CCR) was the choir in attendance with hilarious songs and hymns to the Holy Spirit.
